Privacy Policy
LiveLink is built to minimize data retention. Transfers are live-only and end-to-end encrypted, and the server only relays encrypted chunks while both peers are online.
Data we process
We process technical data (IP address, device/browser info, timestamps), transfer metadata (file size, success/failure status, transferId), and optional logs or diagnostics when enabled.
Data we do not store
File contents, encryption keys, and user accounts are never stored on the server.
Purpose of processing
We use this data to operate the service, prevent abuse, maintain reliability, and troubleshoot issues.
Retention
Operational metadata and logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted or rotated, based on server configuration.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share information if required by law or to protect the service.
Security
Transfers use TLS in transit and end-to-end encryption. Anyone with a transfer link can access it, so keep links private.
Cookies and local storage
We use sessionStorage to keep a sessionId and localStorage to remember a clientId and policy acceptance. No advertising cookies are used.
